JORDINA CERAMICS
Jordina Ferrando is a ceramic artist based in Banyoles, Girona, where she develops her practice deeply connected to the landscape and material culture of the Mediterranean. Working from her studio in her hometown, her work reflects a strong sense of place, expressed through organic forms, natural textures, and a restrained, earthy palette.
Her practice is driven by intuition, exploration, and a profound respect for process. Jordina creates both sculptural pieces and limited-edition tableware, often leaving surfaces unglazed or partially glazed to reveal the raw texture and color of the fired clay. Each piece is made by hand, embracing subtle imperfections and variations that speak to time, touch, and material honesty.
Fascinated by corporeality and form, she frequently works with coil-building techniques, allowing shapes to grow slowly and organically. Her work seeks a balance between artistic expression and functionality, bringing a quiet sense of harmony to everyday spaces. Alongside her independent practice, Jordina collaborates with galleries, designers, architects, and hospitality projects, creating bespoke ceramic pieces rooted in authenticity and craftsmanship.
