On November 8th, Raquel and Pedro — the artists behind Canoa Lab — joined us at LLOP Madrid to inaugurate the first LLOP Talks session. During the event, they presented a series of seven exclusive ceramic pieces created especially for LLOP Madrid.

Each piece was handcrafted in their Valencia-based studio, using a combination of unique molds and experimental glaze blends, resulting in singular works that reflect Canoa Lab’s distinctive approach to texture, form, and material.

Canoa Lab was founded by Raquel and Pedro, whose practice draws inspiration from ancient Mediterranean artifacts and timeless design. Their work explores the intersection between contemporary craftsmanship and the rituals of everyday life, creating objects that feel both archaic and modern.
