NURIA SOLER
Barcelona-based ceramic artist working primarily on the wheel with high-fired stoneware and colored pigments. Her practice explores volume, balance, and rhythm through stacked and totemic forms that oscillate between functional objects and small sculptural pieces.
Color plays a central role in her work: soft yet vibrant tones are integrated directly into the clay body, creating a matte, velvety surface that emphasizes form and light. Her pieces often combine playful geometries with a strong architectural presence, resulting in objects that feel both joyful and composed.
Working slowly and intuitively in the studio, Soler Romeo focuses on the relationship between repetition and variation, allowing each piece to maintain its individuality while belonging to a coherent visual universe rooted in contemporary Mediterranean design.
