TRINIDAD CONTRERAS
Trinidad Contreras is a Barcelona-based artist working at the intersection of contemporary jewellery and ceramics. Trained in Artistic Jewellery at Escola Massana, her practice has been deeply shaped by her discovery of porcelain, a material that has since become central to her work, both for its fragility and expressive potential.
Working from her home studio in Poblenou, Trinidad also shares her practice through intimate workshops, guiding others in their exploration of porcelain and contemporary jewellery. Her work reflects an ongoing search for sensitivity, balance and a personal language shaped through making.
Among these pieces is the Junco lamp, a design that reflects Coderch’s interest in natural materials and Mediterranean craft traditions. Produced today by TUNDS, the lamp combines a simple structure with woven natural fibres, creating a warm, diffused light and a quiet, timeless presence within a space.
