One of a kind handcoiled ceramic vessel made with grogged stoneware clay, left unglazed or partially glazed to reveal the raw textures and natural tonalities of the material. Created by Catalan artist Jordina Ferrando, founder of Jor Ceramics, based in Banyoles, Girona.
Inspired by rocky formations and Mediterranean landscapes, each piece is shaped slowly by hand using traditional coil-building techniques. Perfectly imperfect and no longer reproducible, it reflects a commitment to sustainability, slow-making and contemporary Spanish craftsmanship.
